Alter Your Metabolism to Get Shredded Fast

It’s always a good thing to alter your metabolism to get shredded faster. It’s not just about boosting it, but also regulating it. As you know, a slow one may mess up with your weight loss and bodybuilding goals, so you always have to rev it up.

Our metabolism decline as we age, and aging is uncontrollable, but there are ways to stop or fight that decline. To start, here are ways to boost metabolism, as listed by health enthusiast Alexander Heyne on Mind Body Green:

If you don’t like coffee — tea, especially green tea, will do the trick.

In a nutshell, the two essential factors are nutrition plan and workout routine. Want some tips? Here are a few important ones from bodybuilder Chris Aceto on Flex:

Metabolic Modifiers

Getting cut and defined is not all just calories. It’s not. I promise. When it comes to getting ripped, calories certainly play a major role. However — and this however is huge — you need to use and implement a few strategies that alter your metabolism. Read more…

Exercising or at least increasing your daily activities will help as well. It can be as simple as standing more than sitting, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, basically any activity that’ll make you sweat. Brielle Buis compiled five easy and fast workouts from strength and conditioning coach Joel Sanders on Men’s Fitness:

To fire up your metabolism and shift fat burning into high gear, you don’t need a ton of time. In fact, you can make it happen in as few as 10 minutes. Even better news: you can trigger this effect by strength training, running—even climbing stairs or pulling a sled. These five varied routines are guaranteed to get you there. Read more…

In conclusion, you have to eat a balanced diet to surely boost and alter your metabolism. This means you need to consume protein, carbs, fibre, healthy fats, etc, and not just try a low-carb or high-protein, among other restrictive diets at the right times of the day. The ideal is eating small meals every 2 to 3 hours, particularly the foods that promote faster metabolism (even spices!).

Processed foods, sugary drinks, and those that are high in harmful additives wreak havoc on your gut, so you should stay away from them as much as possible. These types of food usually take time to digest, and may get stuck in your body, causing unwanted fat deposits.

And of course, continue to amp up your workouts or have long walks every day. This will not just enhance metabolism, but will also speed up weight loss, build muscle, and enhance your mood. Again, both nutrition and exercise are both important. Don’t just focus on one while taking the other for granted.
