In conclusion, you have to eat a balanced diet to surely boost and alter your metabolism. This means you need to consume protein, carbs, fibre, healthy fats, etc, and not just try a low-carb or high-protein, among other restrictive diets at the right times of the day. The ideal is eating small meals every 2 to 3 hours, particularly the foods that promote faster metabolism (even spices!).

Processed foods, sugary drinks, and those that are high in harmful additives wreak havoc on your gut, so you should stay away from them as much as possible. These types of food usually take time to digest, and may get stuck in your body, causing unwanted fat deposits.

And of course, continue to amp up your workouts or have long walks every day. This will not just enhance metabolism, but will also speed up weight loss, build muscle, and enhance your mood. Again, both nutrition and exercise are both important. Don’t just focus on one while taking the other for granted.
